Sprouts FX (family experience) is what we are calling an exciting new quarterly event for families. Parents - ever wonder what the kids are talking about in Sprouts? Want to know how to better integrate what they are learning on Sundays into the everyday life of your family? This event is designed for parents and kids to have fun together - with activities, games, songs, videos and anything else we can come up with to help you and your kids connect, learn together and invite God into your families in new and deeper ways.
Our first Sprouts FX event is scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd from 6-7 pm. Join us for a great evening of family fun!
we are so grateful for the opportunity to love, celebrate and teach your children in a safe, fun environment on Sundays! it is our goal to help them to have a positive early understanding of the God who loves them so much and the church as the family of God.
we realize that a child's primary spiritual influence will be you, the parent or primary caregiver. one hour a week in our children's program simply can't compete with all the other influences in the lives of your precious children. this is why we want to equip families - training parents and caregivers to make the most of their influence on their child's spiritual development. we can't do it for you, but we can help you be a successful spiritual leader for your kids.
to this end, we provide families with resources so that you can continue to teach and reinforce what your child is learning throughout the week by weaving these teachings into your regular rhythms and routines in your home.
Resources include:
- SOIL - a monthly newsletter highlighting that month's virtue and filled with helpful thoughts and ideas
- refrigerator door - a weekly reminder of each week's story and memory verse
- CDs with upbeat, kid-friendly music that reinforces the lessons your children are learning
- God-time cards - devotional resources for families
- Sprouts FX - a quarterly gathering for parents and kids to engage each other and God through fun activities, games, songs, videos and lots of laughter!
